Hinterland Ultrasound is a diagnostic and specialty 3D/4D ultrasound clinic located up on the plateau in the historic village of Alstonville, NSW.

It is a place that is friendly, nurturing and community minded.

Having worked as a diagnostic ultrasound technician in Ballina for the last six years I became aware of the lack of a diagnostic ultrasound service that was not run by corporate entities in other states removed from the needs and concerns of patients and referrers in our Northern Rivers community. 

​

Our aim is to provide a high quality, professional clinical diagnosis in a non-clinical, warm atmosphere where our patients health and wellbeing is at the forefront of our service.

We are able to cater for all your diagnostic ultrasound needs, including:

• Obstetrics  (1st/2nd/3rd trimester ultrasound including Nuchal Translucency assessment)

• Gynaecology (pelvis, pelvic floor ultrasound)

• Superficial structures (breast, thyroid, testes, lumps and bumps)

• Musculoskeletal (muscles, tendons, ligaments of shoulders, knees, hips, wrists and ankles)

• Blood vessels (arteries and veins)

• Paediatrics (hips, spine, brain)
